Mechatronics Engineering is a multidisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on the engineering of both mechanical and electrical systems, and also includes a combination of robotics, electronics, computer, telecommunications, control, and product engineering. Mechatronics is an essential foundation for the automation and manufacturing, biomedical, autonomous vehicle, defense, transport, and various other areas.

The department of Mechatronics Engineering offers Undergraduate Programme. The department has experienced and qualified faculties specialized in the latest various engineering disciplines such as Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics & Automation, Machine Design and Data Science. The department also has well equipped laboratories relevant for the programme. Active engagement of the students in research and innovation by hosting competitions and participating in national and international conventions. Department focuses on individual student to motivate and create the mind-set for their success through counselling.

Mechatronics Engineers are creative problem solvers who can work on a team. Mechatronics Engineers work in the fields of Automotive Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Telecommunications, Computer science, and consumer products and packaging.

Our Programmes

B. Tech. - Mechatronics Engineering

Duration: 4 years

Eligibility: Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate. OR Passed Diploma examination in relevant branch of Engineering with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Course Fees:

  • Rs. 1,10,000 per annum for Indian Students
  • $ 2,000 per annum for Foreign Students

B. Tech (Lateral Entry) - Mechatronics Engineering

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: Passed Diploma examination in appropriate branch of Engineering with at least 45% marks in aggregate. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks in aggregate and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Course Fees:

  • Rs. 1,10,000 per annum for Indian Students

M. Tech. - Mechatronics Engineering (Automotive Technology)

Department of Mechatronics Engineering offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) specialization in Automotive Technology. This programme provides students with a depth understanding of advanced technologies in Automotive System and thus beneficial for the students in career opportunities in private and public sectors as well as in academia.

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: Passed B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics and Computer Science Engineering with at least 50% marks in aggregate
