    • If a student has registered and filled convocation form but do not find his/her name in these lists please contact with concerned HOD latest by 27th September 2024. A student may also reach the executive grievance committee for this purpose as given at the bottom of this page.

Instruction for the Students and Protocol during Convocation Ceremony

 Registration will begin sharply at 10.30 a.m. kindly report in person at 10.30 am to registration desk in Rajgad Block Reception Area

  1. Collect entry token and gown token from registration desk
  2. Gown and hat will be disributed in Mechanical Engineering Workshop , downstairs from the auditorium through the passage in front of the gym. 500 Rs. refundable deposit must be given to the wardrobe vendor (cash only).
  3. Entry to the Convocation venue is restricted only to the registered Graduates and volunteers wearing a badge, except from the organizing committee members.
  4. Students with proper dress code (FORMAL WEAR ONLY WITH PROPER FOOTWARE) will only be allowed inside the Venue.
  5. The graduates are expected to be inside the venue by 12.00 am failing which the entry will be restricted.
  6. The Graduates are expected to maintain utmost dignity during the Convocation Ceremony.
  7. We have arranged official photographers hence mobile Phones and private cameras will not be entertained. The high resolution Photographs can be collected from the official photographers.
  8. The Graduates should follow these Protocols Strictly.
  9. Kindly occupy your seats according to the designated seating arrangement.
  10. Entry to the venue after the commencement of the convocation is strictly forbidden.
  11. Entry is allowed only to the parents of the Graduates up to two persons only.
  12. Students should not leave the ceremony before it ends. They should only leave their seats after the academic procession has left.
  13. On the day of Convocation you are also kindly requested to register with Fee Rs. 500/- for the Alumni Association of CSMU as a member.

 Protocol for Students during Convocation Ceremony

 Dress code: Students should wear appropriate attire for the ceremony, including footwear that is not slippers.

  1. Arrival: Students should arrive early and register before taking their seats.
  2. Mobile phones: Students should keep their phones switched off.
  3. Behavior: Students should not make noise, whistle, shout, or cheer.
  4. Photography: Students should not take photos or selfies.
  5. Leaving: Students should not leave the ceremony before it ends. They should only leave their seats after the academic procession has left.
  6. Pledge: Students should stand and raise their right hand when reciting the pledge.

National Anthem: Students should stand when the National Anthem is played.
