The Faculty of Commerce, Management and Hospitality in CSMU is formed with the aim to create world class leaders in various trades, to prepare students fully for careers in today’s complex global organizations and to provide training with international quality standards to be a leading human resource provider in various sectors of Commerce, Management and Hospitality.

M. Phil and PhD curriculums are being run in various specialization of Commerce and Management, and currently hosts a large number of researchers working in significant areas of business-related research including accounting, finance, management and economics.

The Department of Hospitality Management is the pioneer institute that offers Certificate, Graduate & Master’s degree in hotel management and operation, culinary arts, and chef training with international quality standards and a leading human resource provider in Management & hospitality sector.

We maintain our international level orientation and benchmark our courses & pedagogy with those of the top colleges & universities worldwide. We are best known for the quality of our teaching faculty who are industry professionals and able to provide hands-on and relevant teaching to help you develop academically, intellectually and professionally.

Each student is assured of a high level of hands-on practical training at our campus, consisting of model Kitchens, restaurant, front office. Reception, model bed rooms etc. Beyond the traditional classroom, you may participate in local and national tours, study trips and professional activities. Our qualifications are internationally recognized.

Dr. Geeta Kohade

MBA, PhD

Dr. Geeta Kohade earned her Doctorate from RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur and Obtained Master’s degree in Business Management from Pune University, Pune. In the past 14 years, Dr Geeta Kohade’s professional journey includes her role as an educator, researcher, trainer and institution builder in the finest Educational Institution in India. Before joining CSMU she was associated with Mumbai University, RTM Nagpur University, Gondwana University,etc Currently 8 Ph.D scholars are pursuing Ph.D. under her supervision in the department of Business Management, CSMU. One student has received the doctoral degree in her guidance and four candidates have submitted thesis. She has presented and published more than 25 research papers in National and International Journals including Book Chapters and Patent. She authored Books on “Principles of Marketing” and “Principles of Management”. She is certified “Soft Skill Trainer” by IASST (International Association of Soft skill Trainer). Her teaching and research interests include Sales & Marketing Processes, Consumer Psychology, Service Marketing, Retail Marketing, Digital Marketing and entrepreneurship.
