The Department of Design and Arts (DDA) is a temple of creativity that fuels the imagination of aspirational students and offers them a medium to convert their creativity into a career, with the help of an array of industry-recognized programs. The students not only get a chance to study at a world-class institution but also the exposure to prove their capabilities through their work.
The Department of Education (DOE), within the broad framework of the objectives of CSMU, aims to carry out academic activities addressing education as a field of knowledge and an area of practice.
The Department of Humanities caters to undergraduate and postgraduate students who consider the ethical, aesthetic, and intellectual dimensions of the human experience, past and present, and are thereby prepared to make thoughtful and imaginative contributions to the culture of the future.
The Department of Journalism & Mass Communication has emerged as a pioneer in the transmission of Information, Knowledge and Creation of Support Systems. The Institute provides wide array of opportunities viz. – Reporter, Editor, Journalist, Columnist, Photojournalist, and Public Relation Specialist.
The Department of Library and Information Science is committed to provide training in the field of newer technologies like Digital Libraries, Institutional Repositories, Content Management systems, Information Analysis , Consolidation, Repackaging and Retrieval, Knowledge Management, E-resources , e-learning , Web Technologies, Networking and Internet etc. to meet the current needs of the information science and the modern libraries.
