Notification for Admission in M.A. Clinical Psychology (RCI) in the Academic Session 2025-26
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University is pleased to invite applications for admission to the M.A. Clinical Psychology program for the academic year 2025–2026.

Eligibility
4 Year B.A./ B.Sc. degree in Psychology from a university recognized by UGC with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST category, minimum 50% marks in aggregate essential, as per GOI.
The candidates who have completed their graduation programme in 3 years shall have to pass fourth year Bridge Course or first year of Masters Programme in Psychology with minimum of 55% marks are also eligible.
Process of Admission
As per the guidelines of the RCI a selection committee that includes Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology shall make
admission on the basis of an entrance examination, consisting of a written test and interview. The
weightage of entrance test shall be 70% whereas the interview will be of 30%.
The institute ensures that the admission procedure is disabled friendly.

A merit list for admission shall be published based on the overall results of the MCQ and the interview. Applicants shall be short listed on the basis of merit only and depending on the predetermined seats available (10 Seats available, earmarked as per the GOI and GOM Reservation Policies). Selected Candidates shall be asked to join within a scheduled last date.
Note: In case of insufficient applications, application and examination dates may be extended. Seats remaining vacant due to lack of candidates from reserved category or candidate’s failure to take admission within the stipulated time, shall be filled from amongst the candidates in the merit list.
