The Department of Electrical Engineering (EEE) at CSMU Panvel, Navi Mumbai, was established in 2018 and has since experienced continuous growth in student enrolment, faculty expertise, infrastructure, and learning facilities. The department offers B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.

Course Highlights and Advantages

The B.Tech. in Electrical engineering program is aimed at imparting knowledge on the fundamental principles of Electrical engineering. This program is beneficial for the some of our pass-outs students in the area of higher studies at IITs, IIMs in India as well as abroad through GATE, GMAT, GRE etc, while others find placement through campus and otherwise in MNCs in India as well as abroad such as HCL, TCS, IBM, Siemens, etc. Some of them are absorbed in Public Sector Undertaking such as ONGC, BHEL, NTPC, HPCL, BARC, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subjects with at least 45% marks in aggregate. OR Passed Diploma examination in relevant branch of Engineering with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Fees Structure and Scholarship

For, B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (4 Years) – Rs. 1,60,000 per year and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (3 Years Lateral Entry) – Rs. 1,48,000 per year.

Admission Process – How to Apply

  • Step 1: Registration – Prospective students will register themselves by clicking Apply Now Complete the online registration form and pay the requisite fee by NEFT/ PAYTM/ Credit/ Debit card/ cash at University counter and submit.
  • Step 2: Mode of admission – University will conduct CSMU Common Entrance Test (CSMUCET) for admission in technical and professional programmes (See list of programmes). For those who have cleared a competitive exam arranged by state/central govt. regulatory body (JEE/MHCET/CAT/NATA/CLAT etc.) are exempted from CSMUCET. In other programmes, admissions are done based on score of qualifying examination/ personal interview.
  • Step 3: Admission Confirmation and Enrolment – Shortlisted students will complete online admission form, upload all relevant documents (Marksheets, TC/Migration certificate etc.) and pay requisite admission fee and course fee. Hard copies of the Marksheets will have to be verified and original copy of TC/ Migration certificate has to be submitted to the University. Each student can log in to Camu ERP to access online course structure, time table, course material etc. and to send/receive various communications.
