A senior administrative professional with almost forty-one years of rich, cross-functional experience across varied segments of the communication sector at the National as well as International level. Dr. Singh has completed his PhD in Mass Media and Journalism from Marathwada University Aurangabad in 2010. As an officer of Indian Information Service, he has worked in various media units of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting viz. All India Radio, Doordarshan, Central Board of Film Certification, Press Information Bureau, Directorate of Public Relations, Ministry of Defense and Registrar of Newspapers for India. His last posting in Government sector was as Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India (GoI) Pune, looking after rural communication management of central government in Maharashtra and Goa. As far as academics is concerned, he is the founder faculty member and HOD of Amity School of Communication, Amity University Mumbai which has grown from modest start of just two students in the beginning in 2014 to 550 students in 2019. Since July 2019 onwards he is working as Dean, Faculty of Arts and Communication in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, Navi Mumbai. Research, Academic and Administrative responsibilities are his core functions for Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Languages and Communication.

Prof. (Dr.) Ruchi Goswami is a distinguished academician, media professional, and strategic communicator with nearly twenty-five years of extensive experience in teaching, research, and mainstream media practice. She holds a Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication, along with an M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication, an M.A. in English Literature, a B.J.M.C., and a (Hons.) in English, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE). A Visharad in Vocal Music, she represents a rare confluence of scholarly excellence and artistic sensibility.
Currently serving as Professor and Head, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, Navi Mumbai, Dr. Goswami has previously contributed over two decades of dedicated academic and administrative leadership to The IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur. She has taught at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, M.Phil., and Ph.D. levels, and served as a valued Counselor for IGNOU for more than fifteen years.
Bringing rich professional experience from leading national media organizations such as The Times of India, Dainik Bhaskar, and Rajasthan Patrika, Dr. Goswami has worked across editorial, reporting, and strategic content domains. Her hands-on experience continues to enrich her teaching, enabling her to seamlessly connect academic theory with real-world media practices.
Since 2014, she has been actively guiding Ph.D. scholars in diverse research areas including Print Journalism, Cinema Studies, Cybercrime, VFX, Film Tourism, OTT Platforms, and Public Relations. A proactive academic leader, she has successfully built and sustained strong industry-academia partnerships, particularly within Rajasthan’s dynamic media ecosystem. Her command over strategic communication, digital innovation, and applied media pedagogy reflects her commitment to shaping future-ready communicators.
An accomplished writer and researcher, Dr. Goswami’s works have been published in Scopus, Springer, UGC-CARE, and other peer-reviewed national and international journals. She is a sought-after keynote speaker, expert panelist, and resource person at reputed conferences, webinars, and training programs across India and abroad.
